We are seeking a highly skilled Developmental Support Specialist to join our team at ABA Labs PTE. LTD. in Singapore.

This role offers a competitive salary of SGD $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with children and families to provide support and intervention services aimed at addressing developmental delays or disabilities in infants and young children.

  • Conduct thorough developmental screenings and assessments to identify children at risk for developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Provide direct intervention services to children, including therapy, family training, and educational activities.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment for children.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interventions, assessments, and progress reports.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Diploma holders are welcome to apply.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
