Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mental health professional to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in case management, group work, program development, and community engagement.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned social worker to take on a key role in managing and coordinating post-discharge programs in partnership with tertiary healthcare institutions.
  • The successful candidate will conduct thorough assessments using the Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual (BPSS) model to develop and implement individualized care plans and interventions.
  • Deliver high-quality psychotherapy sessions and conduct mental health talks for clients and caregivers, promoting holistic person-centered care.
  • The selected candidate will build and maintain strong networks with stakeholders and community partners to address service gaps and improve care accessibility.
  • Supervise the mental health team through regular individual and group supervision sessions.
  • Promote ongoing training and professional development of team members aligned with AIC Mental Health Competency Framework.
  • Plan, facilitate, and evaluate group work sessions for clients and caregivers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in mental health and dementia care with demonstrated competencies in case management, group work, program development, and community engagement.
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
