Job Overview

The School Administrative Executive plays a pivotal role in the management of Capstone Projects for university Masters programmes. This multifaceted position involves assisting in administrative and outreach duties to support the successful completion of these projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market outreach activities by engaging with companies to secure Capstone Projects.
  • Organise events for industry partners, fostering collaboration and promoting student success.
  • Engage Academic Directors to scope Capstone Projects submitted by companies, ensuring alignment with programme requirements.
  • Develop administrative timelines for every semester, streamlining project management.
  • Match students to Capstone Projects, leveraging their skills and interests.
  • Monitor student progress throughout the project duration, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and schedule the final Capstone Project presentation, showcasing student achievements.
  • Submit Capstone Project scores to the relevant unit for final grading, maintaining academic integrity.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to regulations.
  • Organise events to showcase Capstone Projects, highlighting student accomplishments and faculty excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A good bachelor's degree from a reputable institution is required.
  • Possess strong IT skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, and familiarity with Adobe tools.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage, enhancing data analysis capabilities.
Experience and Attributes:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related working experience is preferred, although candidates without experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer-centric skills.
  • Possess strong coordination, organisation, and teamwork abilities, with a resilient and adaptable mindset.
