Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Therapeutic Services Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of therapeutic services in our Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' individual needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Provide individual, group, or specialized sessions based on the client's functioning level and presenting concerns.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary intake assessments to evaluate treatment suitability.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document clients' progress and evolving needs.
  • Make appropriate referrals to external professionals for further assessment or intervention.
  • Offer clinical updates and consultations to caregivers and the wider care team.
  • Actively contribute to case conferences and collaborative care planning.
  • Facilitate staff training on behavior management strategies and other relevant clinical topics.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting. They should have exposure to working with complex trauma and demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills.

A strong understanding of local professional ethics and standards, as well as prevailing international standards, is essential. The ability to remain calm in stressful situations, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions are also highly valued.

The role requires a high level of organization, time management, and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining clear records of all clients under care.
