Job Overview: Scientific Equipment Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced scientific equipment support specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical assistance for scientific and analytical equipment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with customers through responsive and proactive service support.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for service-related inquiries and ensuring prompt issue resolution.
  • Performing installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
  • Addressing technical concerns directly with end-users to minimize equipment downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Conducting hands-on training sessions for end-users and distributors on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Collaborating with internal sales teams and regional technical support teams to understand customer requirements and align service delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum diploma in mechanical/electronics/electrical/chemical engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of hands-on experience in servicing scientific or analytical instrumentation.
  • A strong customer service orientation with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • The ability to work independently with good planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
