Maternal Care Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to new mothers and their infants during their stay with us.

Baby Care Duties:

  • Assist in the cleaning, bathing, and changing of diapers.
  • Help with feeding and ensure the baby's temperature is within a healthy range.
  • Monitor the baby's growth and development, including their mental and physical behavior.
  • Guide parents in infection control and baby safety measures.

Mummy Care Duties Include:

  • Monitoring the mother's recovery progress and providing emotional support.
  • Guiding mothers in breastfeeding techniques and offering guidance on caring for their newborns.
  • Assisting mothers in understanding and coping with postnatal conditions.

Job Requirements:

  • Physically fit and mentally sound individuals only.
  • Relevant experience in childcare or healthcare preferred.
  • Ability to commit to working twice a week and being available for weekends and public holidays.
