About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Diagnostics Platform in Southeast Asia. As VP & GM, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth and scaling up our current business in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a corporate strategic accounts strategy to drive core growth for key accounts in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
  • Lead the Dx Opco Sales Leaders in developing and executing a sales strategy to accelerate growth for all Diagnostics Businesses, except Beckman Coulter Dx Business, in SE Asia Region.
  • Develop the long-term vision aligned with market healthcare dynamics by close monitoring and assessment of healthcare economics, market consolidation, and opportunities for Dx Platform companies to gain market share and increase relevance.
  • Improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, and customer experience especially in the services space by driving standard work, synergies across opcos, and best practices sustainably through strong sales education and excellent execution.
  • Lead the Strategic Accounts sales funnel management and forecasting processes related to the accounts in focus; manage the monthly sales reporting process, and drive countermeasures to get back on track from misses to target.
  • Develop Country Dx & Opco leaders by establishing annual goals for the group and coach, monitor, and improve team performance through the use of DBS tools and processes with a keen focus on continuous improvement, customer intimacy, and focus.
Requirements
  • Experience in creating and executing multi-year business strategy; developing and implementing a comprehensive commercial strategy that supports the Danaher Diagnostics business objectives and growth targets in SE Asia in partnership with the Danaher Diagnostics Operating companies.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; Ability to analyze complicated issues and boil down to the key points, communicate effectively, influence development of action plans working through Dx Opco leaders and bring to a successful conclusion.
  • Deep market knowledge of Healthcare Space, and competitor intelligence and the capacity to identify market tendencies before they become trends; a minimum of 20 +years of leading & growing ~$60 Mn + business in SE Asia Region with multiple BU / product lines.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and executive presence with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher; Can quickly build strong relationships and quickly establish significant credibility, trust, and support (i.e., Customers, peers, subordinates, and senior management) as well as developing strong followership within the commercial organization.
  • Strong sales and marketing management capabilities; Provide strategic direction and guidance to the sales and marketing teams of Diagnostics OpCo's to optimize performance and achieve sales targets. Ensure the implementation of effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and market presence.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills; can support team and work at high levels within customer decision making unit to negotiate complex deals which are profitable to the company and in line with revenue and margin objectives;
