Unlock the Potential of Diagnostic Business in Southeast Asia

The Diagnostic Business Strategist for Southeast Asia will play a vital role in supporting the Vice President/General Manager SEA, Diagnostic Platform. This position is based in Singapore and is a key member of the management team responsible for leading the strategy design/implementation of DBS to support Diagnostic Platform continued success in driving commercial execution in SEA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and own the SEA Diagnostic Platform DBS strategy and DBS deployment.
  • Drive organic growth and operational excellence through functional engines and OpCo level deployment of initiatives driving improvements to architect the CVDs across the platform.
  • Deploy DBS Tools and drive cross-departmental influence to raise awareness and develop process.
  • Lead complex cross-functional change initiatives and apply the Change Management framework learnings to drive DBS culture and methodologies across the full organization.
  • Leverage the Policy Deployment process to identify improvements at a strategic level and work with functional leaders to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Policy Deployment (PD) initiatives.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent in business, diagnostic/medical device. MBA preferred.
  • Long standing years of (10 years+) experience in Commercial, Operations, or Engineering, preferably in more than one area with an emphasis on process improvements. May accept less experience with a higher degree of internal Danaher experience.
  • Several years (2 years +) experience within diagnostic or medical device industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in continuous improvement (e.g. DBS, TPS, or other methodology) preferred.
  • Previous experience in project management; certification preferred (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, etc)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – 25 to 50% travel, within SEA or global.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Change management competency.
  • Effective coaching and mentoring
  • Strong group facilitation, team building and ability to build consensus.
