Senior Coastal Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Coastal Engineer to lead and support coastal and climate-risk related projects in Singapore and potentially across multiple countries in South-East Asia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coastal engineering and climate adaptation, with at least 8 years of experience in similar projects. They will be responsible for providing expert consultancy, engineering and design input for substantial and complex climate adaptation projects while leading project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams and oversee the project's overall budget and progress.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior consultants and ensure quality and planning standards meet client expectations.
  • Monitor the quality, planning, and budget of the project components under their responsibility.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and design services for coastal and climate adaptation projects.

Requirements:

  • MSc or comparable academic background in Coastal Engineering or related studies.
  • Over 8 years of experience in coastal engineering and climate adaptation projects.
  • Experience in land reclamations and coastal modelling is also advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Ideal candidates should already reside in Singapore and possess valid working rights.
