Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished technology leader to drive our client's APAC ITP DevSecOps and Cloud initiatives.

This role demands a strategic thinker and experienced technical executor who will be responsible for delivering robust, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure, while embedding DevSecOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute APAC cloud strategy in alignment with global directives.
  • Lead cloud migration projects and manage deployment of secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and implement scalable DevSecOps frameworks throughout the SDLC.
  • Promote a culture of automation, security, and continuous integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for cloud solutions.
  • Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technology stakeholders and business IT teams.
  • Govern cloud environments with focus on regulatory compliance and security controls.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading cloud transformation initiatives, particularly within APAC financial services.
  • Experience managing large-scale cloud deployments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and compliance requirements in finance.
  • Hands-on expertise with DevSecOps practices and toolsets (e.g., CI/CD, container orchestration, infrastructure as code).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
