Job Description

We are seeking an experienced program management professional to lead our accounting and finance process excellence initiative in APAC.

The role will oversee the harmonization of processes, strengthening of controls, and driving automation, efficiency, and scalability across APAC accounting and GBS organizations.

  • Develop business cases with objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Create comprehensive project plans
  • Lead end-to-end programs to meet timelines and objectives
  • Define training plans and manage delivery by subject matter experts
  • Evaluate user readiness and track success metrics
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Monitor progress through stakeholder adoption and project closure

Stakeholders rely on you to define engagement and communication plans, act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, foster collaboration and clear communication, engage country/function teams to ensure change communication and training, build strong relationships to support objectives.

Responsibilities
  1. Project Management:

    Project management is key to delivering results. You will develop business cases with objectives, deliverables, and success criteria; create comprehensive project plans; lead end-to-end programs to meet timelines and objectives; define training plans and manage delivery by subject matter experts; evaluate user readiness and track success metrics; identify and mitigate risks; monitor progress through stakeholder adoption and project closure.

  2. Stakeholder Management:

    As the primary point of contact for stakeholders, you will define engagement and communication plans; act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders with regular status updates; foster collaboration and clear communication; engage country/function teams to ensure change communication and training; build strong relationships to support objectives.

  3. Resource & Budget Management:

    You will ensure tools, training, and support for project team members and change agents; manage project budgets and track expenses; report on budget status.

  4. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

    Adhere to BSC PM standards and methodologies; participate in reviews for compliance; identify process improvement opportunities and lead VIP contributions within PMO and broader organization.

  5. Reporting & Documentation:

    Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and Portfolio managers; maintain documentation of plans, processes, and outcomes.

  6. Project Pipeline Development:

    Identify opportunities for harmonization and controls enhancements; develop a multi-year roadmap (2026 and beyond); collaborate with regional leaders; establish evaluation framework to prioritize projects; secure stakeholder buy-in; monitor industry trends and pursue automation, data analytics, and AI opportunities; maintain a living dashboard of pipeline status.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have 10+ years in program management, finance transformation, accounting, internal controls, or process optimization; Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; strong knowledge of finance operations and internal controls; experience with GBS implementation or shared services transformation is a plus; ERP knowledge (SAP ECC preferred) and familiarity with automation (RPA, AI); PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent is advantageous; strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills; ability to drive cross-functional programs across APAC; analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities; understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
