Corporate Legal Consultant

This is a highly skilled position that provides legal advice and guidance to the organization regarding all aspects of Singapore law and various applicable laws, regulations, and company rules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advisory work including drafting legal opinions, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, developing and/or updating relevant templates and standard Terms & Conditions for all businesses in Singapore.
  • Lead the legal assistance on business development activities such as establishment of new JVs, divestments, acquisitions of shares of assets.
  • Assist and advise on corporate secretarial matters including incorporation of companies, corporate secretarial, business registration, renewal matters.
  • Draft, review and evaluate internal policies.
Requirements:
  • Degree in law (LLB) in university and called to the Singapore bar.
  • Min 8-12 years of experience in either a law firm or as a legal counsel, preferable experience covered from trading & distribution, property development, construction related.
  • Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, knowledge of litigation.

Please note that this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
