We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure site environment by implementing security protocols and procedures, conducting regular security patrols, and monitoring security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with a team of security officers to ensure a secure site environment is maintained at all times
  • Develop and implement effective security protocols and procedures to protect premises and assets from potential threats
  • Conduct thorough security patrols and inspections to identify and address any security risks or vulnerabilities
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies, minimizing disruption to the site
  • Monitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms, to prevent unauthorized access or breaches
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance security measures and share best practices
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports related to security incidents and activities, providing valuable insights and intelligence
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in security operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Possess a valid PLRD security license and adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
  • Ability to work extended shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as required
  • Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with fire safety procedures and protocols
  • Proven ability to obtain and maintain a valid PLRD security license
  • Experience in security operations, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with property management systems and access control
  • Understanding of CCTV surveillance and monitoring systems
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to screen and evaluate potential security threats and risks
