**Job Title:** Chief Project Operations Manager

 

As a Chief Project Operations Manager, you will oversee the execution of project works, including the upgrading of switchboards and transformers. This involves conducting site surveys, requesting quotations from contractors/suppliers, and attending meetings with clients, contractors, and authorities to discuss site activities.

 

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Executing project-works, including the upgrading of switchboards and transformers.
  • Conducting or arranging for site surveys and requesting quotations from contractors/suppliers.
  • Attending meetings, site works, and site discussions with clients, contractors, and authorities on matters such as scheduling of site activities.
  • Mobilizing contractors/suppliers to site for urgent repairs, troubleshooting, restoration of power, site show-rounds, and FSSB-testing.
  • Working with various parties to be actively involved in project costing (cost breakdown and preparation of quotations), billings, claims, and tender submissions.
  • Assisting clients in preparing sample quotation forms or technical specifications for servicing maintenance jobs and projects.
  • Negotiating pricing and liaising with contractors/suppliers for site activities.
  • Preparing various operational reports and schedules.

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent from Electrical (Power) discipline with at least 1 year's relevant experience.
  • A team player able to manage project, handle site work, and irregular working hours.
  • Possesses good communication skills.
