Medical Education Specialist Role

  • Develop medical education programs and course materials in alignment with country-specific strategic priorities. Collaborate with Medical Education Managers to create engaging educational content.
  • Manage event requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Oversee logistical arrangements for events.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event documentations, including evaluation reports, invitation letters, and event workbook approvals.
  • Establish effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, such as Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and MedEd staff from other countries/regions.
  • Partner with external customers (Healthcare Professionals, vendors, suppliers, medical institutions) on Singapore-related matters.
  • Manage allocated budgets, contribute to resource management, and support Regional ZBI courses when required.
  • Other MedEd projects may be assigned from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to interact with diverse teams.
  • Able to build strong relationships with medical/healthcare professionals from various institutions and healthcare systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, online event management applications, and basic multimedia techniques is expected.
  • Effective stakeholder management in a matrix environment.
  • Detail-oriented project manager with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education with at least 5 years of relevant experience in events organization and administration, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of general principles and standard practices of medical education planning and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage various types of educational events and modality.

  • Approximately 25-35% travel.
