Job Role:

The Distribution Risk Analyst reports to the Lead, Audits and Surveillance. The role drives analytics capabilities and insights to identify emerging distribution risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer a firm-wide market conduct risk framework to manage distribution market conduct risks.
  • Leverage analytics capabilities and insights to identify emerging distribution risks, including monitoring trends of complaints, investigations, key compliance risk indicators, and sales metrics.
  • Engage and conduct training with distribution channels to discuss and create awareness on market conduct and sales compliance issues.
  • Undertake social media scanning and monitoring to identify online postings not in compliance with regulatory or company requirements.
  • Provide regular reporting to Governance Committees relating to market conduct, fraud, and sales metrics.

Risk Management Framework Responsibilities

  • Maintain a central depository of any issuance of meted sanctions through a centralized system.
  • Handle internal or external queries relating to sanctions and police orders/prohibition orders.

Audit Responsibilities

  • Conduct agency reviews to assess supervisors' compliance with competence standards in accordance with guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks, projects, or reviews as directed by senior management.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and driven individual.
  • Analytical and attentive to details.
  • Basic understanding of the industry and operations.
  • Basic knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to the industry.
Skills and Qualifications:

Proven analytical skills with attention to detail. Basic understanding of the insurance industry and operations. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Working Arrangements:

Standard working hours apply. Occasional overtime may be required. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed with senior management.
