Refrigeration Specialist Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install and Repair Refrigeration Systems : The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing refrigeration systems, including refrigerators and other products. This will involve working with electrical and mechanical components, as well as refrigerants.
  • Troubleshoot System Issues : Our ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, identifying mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related problems.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance : Regular preventive maintenance is essential to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. The successful candidate will perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to keep our refrigeration systems running smoothly.
  • Conduct System Tests : To verify performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels, our technician will conduct system tests as required.
  • Maintain Accurate Records : It is essential to maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory. Our ideal candidate will be organized and able to document all work completed.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service : As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise : A minimum O-Level or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is required. Relevant certifications or vocational training is highly desirable.
  • Industry Experience : A minimum of two years' experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role is essential.
  • Strong Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role, as our technician will need to interact with clients and colleagues regularly.
  • Ability to Work Independently : Our ideal candidate will be able to work independently and under pressure, making sound decisions and prioritizing tasks effectively.
