Job Title: Refrigeration Specialist

This is a key role in our company that requires a skilled and experienced technician to install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems. We are seeking an individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair refrigeration systems, including refrigerators and other products.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, identifying mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related problems.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and fans.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Conduct system tests to verify performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels.
  • Calibrate temperature controls, thermostats, and pressure switches as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards for handling refrigerants and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum O-Level or equivalent qualification. Relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
