Job Title: Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing and maintaining refrigeration systems, including refrigerators and other related equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installing, repairing and maintaining refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns;
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, including mechanical, electrical and refrigerant-related problems;
  • Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors and fans;
  • Performing regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns;
  • Conducting system tests to verify performance, temperature control and refrigerant levels;
  • Calibrating temperature controls, thermostats and pressure switches as needed;
  • Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment;
  • Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities and parts inventory;
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role;
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components;
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
