Job Title: Refrigeration Specialist

As a skilled Refrigeration Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing various types of refrigeration equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all systems are functioning at optimal levels.

  • Repair and maintain washers, dryers, and small appliances
  • Plan, monitor, install, and adjust the full range of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
  • Troubleshoot and modify heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and equipment to ensure they operate at peak efficiency
  • Perform installation of mechanical systems to include piping and modifications to existing facilities' cooling systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, including reciprocating chillers, rotary screw chillers, heat exchangers, fans, fan motors, pumps, pump motors, electric and pneumatic controls, and associated safety devices
  • Troubleshoot and modify HVAC systems and equipment to ensure they operate at peak efficiency
  • Install and adjust heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment to meet specific requirements
  • Monitor work done by outside contractors to ensure adherence to state and federal code requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong background in HVAC and refrigeration equipment with hands-on experience in operating and troubleshooting industrial systems
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities of a Journeyman level mechanic
  • Knowledge of industrial systems, including piping and mechanical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
