Legal Expert

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team and contribute to the growth of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and at least 8 years of experience in a law firm or as a legal counsel, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, knowledge of litigation, and the ability to travel to Malaysia.

This role requires a high level of autonomy and flexibility, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on all aspects of Singapore law and various applicable laws, regulations, and company rules.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, developing and updating relevant templates and standard Terms & Conditions for all businesses in Singapore.
  • Assisting and advising on mergers and acquisitions, ensuring the drafting and reviewing of all corporate transactions, preparing legal notes, and coordinating with risk/compliance, tax, and finance teams.
  • Responsibility for corporate secretarial matters, including incorporation of companies, corporate secretarial, business registration, renewal matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws on corporate secretarial matters.
  • Evaluating and implementing internal policies.

Requirements:

A degree in law from a recognized institution.At least 8 years of experience in a law firm or as a legal counsel.Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, and knowledge of litigation.Ability to travel to Malaysia.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
