Job Summary: As the Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) based in Singapore, your primary responsibility will be to lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of potential merger and acquisition opportunities, with a particular focus on the Asia markets. You will play a crucial role in driving the strategic growth and expansion of the SPAC, working closely with the executive team to execute successful transactions.

**M&A target criteria**
- Turnover > US$1B
- Revenue > US$50M
- Profitable
- Products: LBMA gold and silver bars, palladium

**Key Responsibilities**
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with the executive team and other stakeholders to develop the organization's M&A strategy. Identify potential growth opportunities, assess market trends, and align M&A initiatives with the company's overall business objectives.
- Financial Analysis and Valuation: Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to assess the valuation of target companies. Conduct detailed financial analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (comps), and other valuation methodologies.
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Oversee negotiations with target companies and their representatives. Collaborate with legal and financial teams to structure deals that maximize value and mitigate risks for the organization.

**Qualifications And Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience (8+ years) in Precious Metal industry, or a similar role focused on M&A.
- Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions, including deal origination, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external advisors.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility to travel as required for meetings, due diligence, and industry events.
