Job Title:

Senior IT Operations Manager

Job Description:

As a seasoned IT operations professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of large-scale IT projects. You will be responsible for managing teams of 100+ FTEs across onsite and offshore environments, with a focus on delivering excellent customer satisfaction while meeting financial targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. They will also have hands-on experience with software development, testing, and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities include establishing operating procedures, team planning, and work assignments, as well as overseeing IT projects in Payments, Channels, and Wealth Management. The successful candidate will also have experience working with multi-vendor environments and coordinating multiple stakeholders for seamless delivery.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can lead by example and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare and present status reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing large IT development and production support teams (100+ FTEs) in outsourced/onshore-offshore setups.
  • Domain knowledge in BFSI, Retail Banking, Payments, and Wealth Management.
  • Experience managing delivery in multi-vendor environments.
  • Strong project management skills; certified in project management and Agile ways of working.
  • Hands-on understanding of software development, testing, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with fixed-price engagements, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
