About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the area of Intelligent Manufacturing Systems. The role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, robotics, and manufacturing processes.

Candidate Profile
  • Possess relevant Bachelor and PhD degrees from reputable universities.
  • A good research track record, and postdoctoral experience would be advantageous.
  • Extensive industry experience with a passion for education.
  • Research interests include robot manipulation, control, and industrial robot applications in manufacturing systems, sustainable manufacturing, smart factories in Industry 4.0.
  • An excellent teaching record at either undergraduate or graduate levels.
  • A track record of translational research work with industry relevance would be preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, supervising graduate students and undergraduate projects. Those on tenure-track will also be expected to acquire research funding and conduct research.
