**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily food production, preparation, and presentation of our restaurant operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Prepare mise-en-place for various dishes, including vegetable, fruits, seafood, poultry, and farinaceous preparations.
  • Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or vocational certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in full-service restaurants or local/international hotels in high-volume kitchens.
  • Valid Food Hygiene/Food Handler certificate as required by local government.
  • Outgoing and people-oriented individual with ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.

Working Conditions:

  • Rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to commit to a split-shift setting; restaurant is open for Lunch & Dinner services.
