Job Description:
As a Document Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Your primary focus will be on managing and controlling project documents, including drawings, contracts, reports, and site-related records.
Key responsibilities include assisting the production team and senior document controllers in submitting and tracking documents through integrated digital delivery (IDD) platforms. You will also maintain up-to-date records in document management systems such as Novade, Autodesk ACC, Fulcrum, ACONEX, or other equivalent platforms.
Furthermore, you will ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant project stakeholders and maintain document logs for easy retrieval. Additionally, you will monitor document workflows and follow up on outstanding submissions to meet project timelines.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate a strong understanding of costing, contract documentation, and administration processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Knowledge or experience in Digital Construction and use of IDD platforms (e.g., Novade, Autodesk ACC, Fulcrum, ACONEX)
- Strong understanding of costing, contract documentation, and administration processes
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
