Data Centre Migration Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced project manager to lead and oversee a large-scale data centre migration program.
This strategic, multi-year initiative requires exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and technical delivery oversight within a highly regulated banking environment.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in managing large-scale data centre, infrastructure, and application migration projects involving 2,000+ servers. They should also possess hands-on knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage technologies.
- Key responsibilities include leading and managing the full lifecycle of the data centre migration project from planning, infrastructure design, and build to cutover and post-migration stabilization.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with infrastructure architects, engineering, and build teams to coordinate delivery resources, resolve conflicts, and address any unrealistic delivery expectations.
- They will also be responsible for proactively identifying, tracking, and resolving risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project momentum.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing large-scale data centre, infrastructure, and application migration projects.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services regulatory environments is essential.
- Hands-on knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage technologies.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a track record of driving issues to closure.
