
Project Budget Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates of costs associated with construction projects, evaluating and analyzing tender submissions from sub-contractors and suppliers, working closely with the project team to ensure timely completion of projects within budget, monitoring and controlling project expenses to ensure compliance with established budgets, performing regular valuations of work in progress and forecasting final costs, verifying sub-contractor tenders/contracts and certifying monthly valuations, managing all commercial project data, including cost forecasting for labour, materials, and sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates of costs associated with construction projects.
- Evaluate and analyze tender submissions from sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
- Monitor and control project expenses to ensure compliance with established budgets.
- Perform regular valuations of work in progress and forecast final costs.
- Verify sub-contractor tenders/contracts and certify monthly valuations.
- Manage all commercial project data, including cost forecasting for labour, materials, and sub-contractors.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is essential for this role. A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in the electrical construction, M/E services or any structured cabling industry or similar is required. Proven track record in project cost management and tender preparation would be advantageous.
