Job Summary:

A purchasing professional is required to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost competitiveness and service levels meet organizational requirements.
  • Update purchase orders in the costing system.
  • Prepare monthly purchase reports.
  • Update vendor lists of suppliers and subcontractors and build direct contacts with local and overseas manufacturers.
  • Build and update databases of company production consumables, ship store supplies, and spare parts for quotation and purchase purposes.
  • Prepare documents including delivery orders and apply related permits for ship repairs as requested.
  • Assist with operations arrangements such as coordinating with ship agents, superintendents, subcontractors, and our repair team for daily operations if necessary.
  • Assist with quotations for ship store and spare supply if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and procedures.
