Job Title: Foreign Exchange Specialist

About the Role:

The foreign exchange specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the organization's foreign currency-denominated securities portfolio, focusing on optimizing portfolio mix quality, yield, and profitability. This individual will take and manage proprietary positions in the foreign exchange market and be responsible for liquidity trader duties, including reconciliation and management of the organization's foreign currency-denominated nostro accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Securities and FX Portfolio and Liquidity.
  • Take positions in foreign currency-denominated sovereign/corporate securities to maximize returns based on house view.
  • Analyze market conditions using fundamental and technical indicators and provide analysis/update to stakeholders, clients, and concerned units.
  • Capture timely and accurate transactions in applicable trading platforms.
  • Monitor nostro account balances and reconcile discrepancies.
