Trade Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Strategist to join our team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing high-frequency trading strategies across various Asian currencies.

The role involves monitoring global macroeconomic developments, interest rate trends, and market dynamics to identify trading opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage high-frequency trading strategies.
  • Monitor global macroeconomic and interest rate developments.
  • Identify trading opportunities in spot FX, forwards, and FX futures while managing risk across different currency pairs.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers to develop and refine models for pricing, risk management, and identifying arbitrage opportunities.
  • Ensure efficient execution of trades through the use of automated trading systems and proprietary algorithms.
  • Manage and hedge risk effectively, keeping within defined risk limits.
  • Monitor market liquidity and optimize execution strategies to minimize trading costs.
  • Work closely with the technology and development teams to refine and improve trading tools and infrastructure.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements in various Asian markets, ensuring compliance with trading regulations.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to senior management on opportunities and challenges in the Asia FX market.

Requirements:

  • A strong track record of profitability and performance in FX trading.
  • In-depth knowledge of FX markets and interest rates.
  • Excellent risk management skills, with experience in managing risk exposure in volatile markets.
  • Experience with algorithmic trading systems and a strong understanding of quantitative models for pricing and risk management.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate market views and trading strategies to colleagues and senior management.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-moving markets and quickly adjust trading strategies as market conditions change.
