Job Summary

A skilled NAND device engineer is sought to join our team in the Device Technology Development group. The successful candidate will analyze cell device characteristics, develop novel solutions for next-generation NAND technologies, and collaborate with product engineers to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze cell device characteristics and develop novel solutions for next-generation NAND technologies.
  • Collaborate with product engineers and probe engineers to achieve program goals.
  • Perform electrical characterization of NAND cell arrays and test structures to identify device improvement directions.
  • Contribute to cell improvement efforts by providing feedback to the Process Integration and Cell teams on process experiments and potential interactions with array operation.
  • Trim and waveform/algo engineering to improve Vt placement, performance, and reliability.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Nanoscience or Electrical Engineering with focus on Semiconductor devices.
  • Strong understanding and experience with nonvolatile memories, in particular NAND device physics.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor devices and processes.
  • Experience with NAND cell optimization and algorithm development is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of statistics.
