Job Description:

Highly skilled and experienced chefs with a background in Indian cuisine are needed to fill key positions in our kitchen. Candidates should have a proven track record of cooking high-quality dishes using traditional techniques and recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, marinate, and cook meats, seafood, and vegetables in the tandoor oven
  • Operate and maintain the tandoor oven to ensure optimal performance
  • Cook a variety of dishes following traditional Indian recipes and techniques
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results
  • Ensure food safety and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to meet menu demands

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a chef in an Indian restaurant
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking methods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex recipes
  • Proven ability to handle food safely and hygienically
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
