Business Continuity Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain business continuity plans and lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough business impact analysis (BIA).
  • Coordinate recovery drills and tests to ensure operational resilience.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate operational risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor emerging threats and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Effectively manage communication during incidents.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing plans to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate and coordinate activities with stakeholders and teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with min. 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution or related field.
  • Proven working knowledge of ITIL best practices and risk management principles.
  • Experience in leading incident response efforts and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with supporting Desktop End User Services, Infrastructure, Banking Applications and Operations.
  • This role requires an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in leading a team and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Ability to make quick and informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
