Job Title: Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Specialist

,Description

This role involves overseeing the Incident Management, Crisis Management Program, Crisis Communications, and Disaster Recovery plans. The Business Continuity Management (BCM) team is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and enforcing the BCM policy.

  • Maintain awareness of emerging trends and incidents, monitor potential threats, and inform and advise the organization.
  • Work with individuals at all levels to ensure crisis management preparedness.
  • Coordinate special projects as needed, related to expansion of the Incident/Crisis Management program.
  • Participate in new initiatives to identify potentially new/emerging risks, develop a roadmap based on new threats.
  • Interact with senior leadership in assigned business units and across the organization.
  • Oversee disaster recovery and incident response integration efforts with crisis management.
  • Collaborate with business and support units to ensure alignment of business priorities, crisis and disaster responses, integrated plan execution, and overall company recoverability.
  • Coordinate IT Business Impact Analysis process (BIA) and assess the corporate BIA, providing recommendations.
  • Provide reports through facilitation of the Business Continuity Management Committee steering committee.
  • Manage IT and DR exercises and other continuity exercises: internal preparation, execution, issue resolution, and reporting results from the exercises.
  • Oversee monitoring of the BCM program as it relates to audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Work with business units to develop and maintain Business Continuity plans, including assessment of potential business impact, definition of critical, time-sensitive functions.
  • Oversee, develop, and implement improvements and efficiencies in both BIA and Business Continuity Program.
