Job Title: Financial Services Specialist
Job Description:Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Financial Services Specialist. This position involves reconciling and maintaining accurate financial records, as well as processing monthly payments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing related AP payments and monthly SOA reconciliation. Additionally, they will act as the first approver/reviewer of all invoices submitted via the e-Procurement system.
- Prepare and process related AP payments and monthly SOA reconciliation.
- Act as the first approver/reviewer of all invoices submitted via the e-Procurement system (TenderBoard).
- Review TenderBoard reports and ensure accuracy of accounting codes.
- Monitor balance sheet items and follow up with relevant stakeholders on outstanding items.
- Timely and accurately prepare daily carrier remittances for both batches.
- Post related AP transactions/journal entries.
- Support colleagues through a buddy system.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Manager/HOD.
Essential qualifications for this role include a diploma in Accountancy or Business Finance. Hands-on experience in accounting, particularly in the finance area, is preferred. Experience in shared service and freight forwarding/logistics is also an added advantage.
Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP accounting system. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
