We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial support and ensuring the accuracy of our company's financial records.
The role involves handling day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing accounting records and journal entries, reviewing and recording staff expense claims, closely monitoring financial statements, collaborating with regional stakeholders, and assisting with tax and audit data preparation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting records and journal entries
- Review and record staff expense claims
- Closely monitor financial statements for 3 entities
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders in China HQ to review subsidiary accounts and convert them into standard formats
- Assist with tax and audit data preparation
- Support ad-hoc administrative and finance tasks
Requirements:
- Fresh graduate or 1-3 years' accounting experience (up to 5 years if diploma-qualified)
- Degree, diploma, or professional studies in accounting (ACCA/CPA track welcome)
- Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Comfortable learning new accounting systems
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and deadline-driven
- Fluent in English and Chinese to work with regional stakeholders
- A strong learner with team spirit
