Job Overview:
Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Officer to lead Digital Innovation projects.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team and contribute to advancing Digital Innovation applied research projects. You will be responsible for co-creating commercially viable solutions with industry partners, delivering on projects that help industries move up the innovation value chain, and equipping yourself with applied research skill sets relevant to industry demands.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead generation and prospecting: Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and digital marketing.
  • Market research and analysis: Identify emerging trends and opportunities in Digitalisation to position SIT as a key partner in Digital Innovation.
  • Project management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital innovation-related projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  • Foster partnerships: Foster partnerships with businesses, government agencies, institutions, and other stakeholders to develop impactful projects that enhance Digital Innovation outcomes.

Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Business, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record in Digital Innovation or Marketing. Strong knowledge of digital/AI technologies, resource management, and sustainable business practices. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. Experience in writing project proposals and grants will be an added advantage. Extensive experience and knowledge of industry practices to bring industry perspective to SIT. Keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in proposing company solutions to technical problems. Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working closely with colleagues and potential clients.
