Role Overview
This role involves supporting the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of support services and maintain targeted performance standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating and executing operational support services, managing outsourced vendors, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Delivery of support services in accordance with agreed standards
- Effective management of vendors and contractors
- Supervision of staff to ensure adherence to safety and security protocols
Responsibilities
- Operational Support Services: Assist the Operations Support Executive (OSE) to provide day-to-day operations such as general facility cleanliness and maintenance management, equipment maintenance, food and laundry services for residents, general logistics support, safety and security services.
- Vendor Management: Manage outsourced vendors with the OSE to ensure that service standards are met.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and work closely with Facility Assistants and/or outsourced vendors to ensure upkeep of the Care Home premise's cleanliness, appointed maintenance contractors to provide regular maintenance, security staff or outsourced vendors to ensure physical security, and Facility Assistants (Laundry) to ensure proper laundering and delivery of resident-related linen.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with workplace safety and fire safety requirements.
Requirements
- O Level/Nitec/entry level candidate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Meticulous with an eye for detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Knowledge of security operations, fire safety, and workplace health safety
- Ability to troubleshoot basic M&E systems and perform simple maintenance
