Financial Operations Support Specialist
Job Description:
As a Financial Operations Support Specialist, you will provide critical support to the finance team in managing the financial operations of our company. This includes assisting with accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial statements, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter supplier and other invoices into accounting software, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the system.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing.
- Manage employee data on the HRMS and update employee information.
- Provide monthly updates on Cost of Goods at our company outlets.
- Supply Monthly Sales data from POS to landlords.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and customer records.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies or inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role preferred.
- Proficient in using accounting software, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with FnB industry and related financial processes is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
