Job Description:

We are seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement in energy consumption and developing strategies to optimize energy efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing energy audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with energy managers to develop and implement energy-saving projects.
  • Conduct measurement and verification of energy performance to ensure data-driven decision making.
  • Manage energy improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Evaluate existing buildings for suitable energy conservation measures, considering factors such as financial viability, payback period, and related energy-saving calculations.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Employ a problem-solving mindset and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Hold a diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or building services engineering.
  • Possess 1-3 years of experience in HVAC operations, preferably with chillers and central plant systems.
