Energy Efficiency Design Specialist

Job Title:
Energy Efficiency Design SpecialistAbout the Role:
We seek a highly skilled professional to conduct comprehensive building energy simulations from conceptual stage to design and operating stage, adhering to local and international energy standards.
Key responsibilities include creating 3D models with façade and shading features, reviewing active energy systems, and studying technical specifications. Relevant details will be extracted from these specifications, reviewed, and discussed with engineers, then input into the simulation model to achieve required savings.
The ideal candidate will provide advisories on energy-efficient designs and optimization strategies to project stakeholders (architects, engineers, building owners, etc.). Results will be delivered clearly through graphical diagrams and report writing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A Singaporean citizen is required.
- A Diploma or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Energy and Environment or equivalent is necessary.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read drawings, elevation plans, sectional plans are essential.
- Experience with energy modelling software (IESVE, EnergyPlus, E20 or equivalent) is required.
- Competence in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in related fields will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities are expected.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently is necessary.
- Strong independent learning capabilities are essential.
