Corporate Governance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and organised professional to join our team in a critical hybrid role. This position is pivotal for ensuring seamless corporate governance, efficient office operations and meticulous record-keeping.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the corporate Secretary in matters related to corporate compliance and governance
  • Preparing notices, agendas, board packs and other materials for Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs)
  • Attending meetings to take minutes and draft and circulate minutes of meetings and written resolutions
  • Maintaining and updating all statutory registers and records
  • Establishing a systematic filing system for documents, including corporate records, contracts and confidential correspondence
  • Managing document lifecycles, controlling distribution and version control
  • Ensuring security, confidentiality and integrity of all corporate and legal documents
  • Organising company central depository of legal and corporate documents
  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
  • Handling incoming calls, emails and correspondence
  • Processing expense claims and scheduling meetings logistics

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Law or related field
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a corporate secretarial, legal or senior administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing platforms
  • Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • High level of integrity, discretion and professionalism handling confidential information
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with document management software

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a customer-focused approach.
