Job Opportunity: Data Analytics Specialist

As a seasoned data analytics specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the SingHealth Group's strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for providing technical advisory to analysts, developing machine learning models, and creating data-driven dashboards to drive value-driven care, bundled payments, population health, and Cost Systemisation (CoSy) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced data analytics solutions to inform business decisions
  • Lead data analytics projects commissioned by institutions within the SingHealth Group
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Provide training and support to institutional teams on data analytics tools

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, Business Analytics, or other quantitative disciplines
  • At least 5 years of technical experience and 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in healthcare or finance is preferred
  • Strong theoretical understanding of financial/statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and related techniques
  • Technical experience with data wrangling, data prep, and building visualisation dashboards with Tableau/Qlik Sense/Power BI
  • High coding proficiency with R/Python/SQL
  • Good understanding of MATLAB, SPSS, STATA, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment
