We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing project costs and ensuring timely delivery.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Tender/Bid Management: Participate actively in the tender/bid process from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
  • Change Management: Manage changes that affect project costs by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing them.
  • Tender/Bid Analysis: Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in preparing and agreeing on final accounts, including handling claims to ensure clients receive the best value.
  • Estimation and Cost Planning: Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
  • Project Spend Oversight: Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, clearly communicating variations to the team.

We are looking for someone with experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, and cost planning. Estimating experience across large-scale complex projects is preferred. Chartered or working towards it is also desirable. A degree or comparable experience in project management or construction discipline is required.
