Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to lead our food court stall in preparing and presenting authentic Mangalorean and Chettinad cuisine. The successful candidate will have a passion for culinary innovation, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and flair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present a wide range of traditional coastal dishes, including Chicken, Fish, and Prawn Gassi, Neer Dosa, Sukka, Puli Munchi, Prata, and more.
  • Develop a menu that showcases the unique flavors of coastal Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, utilizing seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Plan and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution and effective time management.
  • Maintain exceptionally high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and provide guidance and training on traditional techniques and plating.
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in traditional Indian cuisine, with a focus on Mangalorean and Chettinad specialties.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple orders and deadlines.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to train junior chefs.
