Culinary Responsibilities:- Manage daily kitchen operations focusing on Indian cuisine.
- Develop and refine traditional and contemporary Indian dishes across various regions, including North, South, Mughlai, Tandoori, and Coastal.
- Train and mentor junior staff on techniques, preparation, and presentation.
- Maintain high food quality, consistency, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste and maintain margins.
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal or promotional menus.
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in recruitment and performance reviews for kitchen team members.
- Optimize kitchen scheduling and workflow for smooth peak-hour operations.
- 5-7 years of professional kitchen experience, with a strong focus on Indian cuisine.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (Sous Chef or above).
- Mastery of Indian culinary techniques, regional diversity, and ingredient sourcing.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with passion for presentation and flavor.
- Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume environments.
- Certification in Food Hygiene and Safety preferred.
- Flexible schedule, with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
