Estimation Engineer

The successful candidate will develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for aircraft tooling and military vehicles.

Collaborating with engineering, production, procurement, and sales teams, the Estimation Engineer/Cost Engineer will ensure precise pricing for new projects and modifications involving tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategic solutions for acquiring or fabricating tools and equipment to maximize profitability;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align estimates with technical specifications and client needs;
  • Delivering timely and accurate pricing for new projects to drive business growth;
  • Assessing technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement;

Additional qualifications and experience include:

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in estimating or cost engineering, preferably within a tooling fabrication and machining environment;
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, GD&T, materials, surface & heat treatments, and testing.
