Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist

The role of Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist involves monitoring and inspecting railway infrastructure such as tracks, tunnels, and viaducts to ensure safe use.

With the increasing adoption of advanced technologies like photo imaging systems, laser, and ultrasonic scan systems, this position plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of railway buildings and facilities equipped with smart environmental control, pump monitoring, and lift control systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting system inspection data to understand its characteristics
  • Providing defect severity prioritization to maintainers to ensure timely intervention for preserving safe and reliable train network operation
  • Collaborating with data analysts and engineers to integrate data streams from monitoring systems into centralized data warehouses
  • Identifying condition monitoring technologies that enhance safety and/or reduce maintenance effort

Requirements include a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with prior experience as a maintenance engineer being beneficial. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Excel, Python, and Power BI, along with certification in Microsoft Azure Data Engineer and/or Data Scientist.
