Job Summary
The Regional Mental Health and Network Development Director will oversee the development, implementation, and review of community mental health programs under the Community Mental Health (CMH) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Regional Mental Health and Network Development team in the implementation of ASCAT and Aftercare programs.
- Review and build service linkages to address systems-related and process issues in the delivery of mental health services.
- Establish a quality framework for continuous review and enhancement of care models to meet outcomes and client needs.
- Manage program effectiveness through evaluation by coordinating, collating, and tracking outcome measures and performance indicators of CMH programs.
Masterplan Objectives:
- Implement ASCAT and Aftercare programs effectively.
- Strengthen service delivery systems for mental health services in the community.
- Enhance the mental health capability building strategy under the CMH.
Mental Health Capability Building Strategy:
The Regional Mental Health and Network Development Director will identify CMH providers' learning needs and develop mental health capability building strategies in collaboration with Regional Health Systems Office/Restructured Hospitals.
The objective is to enhance the service delivery system for mental health services in the community.
The Director will review the effectiveness of CMH programs, including outcomes and learnings, for long-term planning.
Strategic Partnerships:
The Director will support the Head of Department (HOD) to lead, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations with government and social agencies, and community partners for capability building of the mental health ecosystem.
The Director will strengthen the local ecosystem to build resilience and present findings and potential strategies to stakeholders to secure buy-in for policy review and service planning.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree preferably in Social Work/Psychology/Counselling.
- 12 years of experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial capacity.
- Familiarity with multi-agency work/healthcare industry, program implementation, and/or program management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in community development and multi-agency work in healthcare/social care industry.
- Facilitation, design thinking, organization development skills.
- Able to work well with groups from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
